F88 Campaign Donating 50% of profits to Veteran mental health kicks off in Queensland Post Covid

Spinifex Brewing Co.'s mission to raise funds for Veteran Mental Health gets underway in Brisbane just in time for Anzac Day 2021 thanks to our charity partner Trek2Health and The Blind Tiger bar.

With a royal commission just announced to examine the appalling statistics of veteran suicide Veteran mental health is now front and centre in the Australian psyche.

Following a rollout and what was at the time a spectacular launch on the 14th February 2020 in both Perth and Townsville the team at Spinifex Brewing Co were left wondering how on earth we were going to supply the extreme demand for our F88 Lager product across the Eastern Seaboard.

F88 Lager is dedicated to the memory of Sig Geoffrey Gregg who sadly took his own life in 2006 following service in Afghanistan.

As our then Director of Sales and army veteran Adam travelled the country every venue visited expressed a desire to get on-board the campaign. With Anzac Day 2020 approaching the timing was perfect and our tiny team was brimming with excitement. Whilst orders came flooding in and we were hard at work producing F88 little did we know the world was going to come crashing down around us in only a few weeks time.

Fast forward to April 2021 and thanks to our partnership with our Brisbane Based charity Trek2Health we are ready to kick off once again with the launch of F88 Lager on tap at the Blind Tiger situated at The Gap and in close proximity to Australia's largest garrison Gallipoli Barracks Enoggera.

"Trek2Health is thrilled to announce that the Blind Tiger The Gap has commenced pouring F88 beer to its customers.

Trek2Health’s partnership with Spinifex Brewing Co is a Veteran owned business based in Perth whose business model has been designed to ensure maximum benefit for Aboriginal businesses in the supply chain with native ingredients provided by indigenous producers in South West WA.

As part of our partnership with Spinifex, 50% of all profits for their F88 Lager range will be donated to Trek2Health for Queensland and Northern Territory sales.

Trek2Health’s philosophy is one of developing personal resilience through nature and we believe in the benefits of personal interactions and camaraderie. Nothing captures the quintessentially Australian essence of mateship more than having a chat and a quiet beer with mates at the end of the day.

F88 Lager is currently supplied across a wide range of military establishments as well as pubs, clubs and taverns nationally. We’re excited to support Spinifex in expanding their distribution across Queensland and Northern Territory.

This is an on the court example of a veteran owned business supporting other veterans as these profits will allow Trek2Health to deliver face-to-face programs, directly supporting veterans and first responders" and we thanks the Blind Tiger for their support. “ Trek2Health CEO Bruce Barker

F88 is a cracker of a beer but raising money for Veterans Mental Health is a cause i cant ignore. Not only is it helping those in need but the fact that you are able to do this just by having a pint of beer is ingenious.

It is a great feeling to be able to support members of my local and national community who have given so much - Angus Calvird Manager - Blind Tiger Bar
